Alabaster Ministries (a women's ministry I'm involved with) held our annual missions fundraiser the first Saturday in November. We served appetizers and desserts, heard missions updates from the four families we support, had our Pastor from FBC as the guest speaker, and held a live auction. It's always lots of fun and we raised almost $1000 for each family!!!!
It's always inspiring to hear from people who have left the comfort and safety of the USA to follow God's call to spread the Gospel to all nations! I'm amazed at their strength and God's faithful provision.
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written,
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Romans 10:13-15
