Easter

Grant really had fun this Easter. We started the day with 8:00 Easter service at church. Uncle Matt and Aunt Tiffany were there (along with Tiffany's dad, mom, and little sister) and Papa came with us. So, we took up an entire row at First Baptist :) We had breakfast at church after the service, then came home.

When we got home, the Easter bunny had hidden plastic eggs all over the yard! Grant had a GREAT time searching for and finding Easter eggs! All his eggs had coins in them, so when we came in, he had to put each and every coin into his Tootsie Roll bank :)

Next, Grant discovered that the Easter bunny had also left him a basket!!! The basket was full of stuff from the movie "Cars." (His favorite). A Lightning McQueen and Doc car, a sippy cup, new undies, and a new copy of the movie since his old one skips A LOT!

I made ham, potatoes, green bean casserole, and rolls for dinner that evening for just the three of us.

How AWESOME that we get to serve a LIVING God!!! Happy Easter everyone!

More baby pictures

I had another OB appointment and ultrasound yesterday. Things are still going great and baby is weighing in at 6 lbs 2 oz. We have an appointment on Thursday where they will do the amnio to check lung maturity, and if all is well, we will do the c-section on Friday, April 17th! So, this very well may be our last weekend as a family of three!!!

We are ready...however, Grant is not so sure. Lately, he's been saying, "No baby Mom, I'm your baby." So, we'll see how the transition goes...wish us luck :)

Date Night

Lee and I decided to do a "date night" before baby arrives. So, we took Grant to the neighbor's to play and headed out for dinner. We ate at Johnny's Italian Steak House...very good (but too expensive). We then drove over to Cosi Cucina to get their AWESOME cheesecake to go. We were tired and didn't have much else in mind to do, so we came home, picked up Grant, and let him snuggle in our bed for awhile b/c we missed him :) Date nights have changed since our pre-baby days, but I love it and wouldn't go back for the world!

Another OB appointment...more good news!

Mom and baby are still doing great! Nothing new to report,

C-section still scheduled for Friday, April 17th.

TWO WEEKS from today!

Mom and Baby are doing great...

I had another OB appointment today and all is well! Baby is still doing great and growing SO fast. She is up to 5lbs 5oz, and still has three weeks to go. Just for reference, Grant was only 4lbs 6oz when he was born...we aren't going to know what to do with a "normal" size newborn :) I guess we won't need any preemie clothes/diapers this time around...YAY!!!!

Family Vacation ~ the last for the THREE of us!

First stop, Cabela's in Owatonna, MN

The Great Sarengeti Waterpark at the Holiday Inn in Owatonna, MN.

Then, on to the Mall of America.

We had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. They had a person dressed in a giant frog costume that TERRIFIED Grant. Other than the frog incident, it was a fun place.

We did the Underwater Adventure. Grant liked the sharks!

We also visited the Children's Museum in St. Paul. Grant loved being able to run around
and play with everything!

Babies, Babies, Babies

As I have mentioned before, BOTH of my sisters-in-law are pregnant too. They had their baby showers a couple weeks ago and I thought I'd post some pictures from the weekend.
